Adolescents who receive NDIS support smile

Insightful Minds NDIS psychology services offer a full range of mental health treatments for people living with disabilities, including children (10 years and older),  adolescents and adults.

Our NDIS psychology services offer a broad range of benefits for NDIS participants, including an improved ability for you to relate to family and friends, connect with your community and enrich your quality of life. The role of the psychologist is to help you reach your goals, and improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing. Based on your goals we develop an intervention plan that is evidence based that may help address:

How can NDIS psychology services help you?

  • Mental health difficulties

  • Overwhelming emotions, such as intense anger, sadness or anxiety.

  • Cognitive difficulties such as memory, attention and planning issues.

  • Adjustment difficulties to new diagnoses, health conditions or impairment associated with disability.

  • Motivational difficulties and behavioural inactivation

  • Limited social connectedness

We support carers

We also understand the importance of supporting parents and carers who play a vital role in the lives of these individuals. We will work collaboratively with your support team (such as your family, support workers, GP, and specialists) to ensure you’re getting consistent care, and to help increase your wellbeing, independence, skills, and confidence.

Insightful Minds NDIS psychology services accept clients who are ‘plan-managed’ or ‘self-managed’.  For those with an approved psychosocial disability and NDIS plan that includes funding for therapeutic supports, we provide psychological services with no out-of-pocket costs.

Unfortunately we are not able to accept ‘agency-managed’ clients.  Please note that it is possible for your NDIS funding to be split between self-managed, plan-managed,  and agency-managed.

How you can access NDIS psychology sessions?

For more information about the psychology component of your funding please speak with your agency manager or plan manager.

Please note Insightful Minds is unable to offer cognitive assessment or behaviour support plans.
